WEISS Index Table Concentricity Testing Procedure Delivers Results For Customers

Here is a video of the WEISS Index Table Concentricity Testing Procedure that is performed on every rotary index table and dial that we produce.

During this process, the dial or rotary index table is mounted directly to “the customer’s actual indexer” to ensure that there can be no variability and that our customers receive absolute precision. This process is offered free of charge to all WEISS customers and we provide our customers with the resultant data so that they have a record of all concentricity measurements for each station.

Although most companies do not provide a similar benefit to their customers, we have found that this added measure of communication helps to reduce questions and concerns when it comes to mounting the tooling onto the table, which, in turn, accelerates installation and overall implementation time.

The WEISS LS280 Linear Assembly System Allows Single Or Double Strokes In The Same System

For the assembly and testing of proportional solenoids, 50 individual processes had to be brought together in a single system. Linked rotary indexing tables would have compromised accessibility and the cycle rate of conventional linear transfer systems was too low. As a “straight rotary indexing table” the LS280 linear assembly system from WEISS offers fast … Read more
